Content Specialist
Szczecin, Poland (hybrid model)
We are looking to expand our team with the position of Content Specialist that will support the marketing team in creating various types of English content: from text for social media, through newsletters, to specialized blog articles or functional descriptions of our products. We are looking for candidates experienced in writing and fluent in English (American English preferably!).
Elastic Email is an all-in-one email delivery platform. We offer an SMTP Relay, robust HTTP API and a User Interface that has a complete suite of tools and features for managing contacts, templates, campaigns and reports. We specialize in delivering transactional and marketing email.
From the beginning, the company has been focused on developing its own technologies and solutions that have allowed us to build a fully scalable product.
We currently support over 12,000 new registrations to the application per month. Thousands of companies from the United States, Great Britain, India, Brazil, France, Canada, Italy, Spain, Poland and many other European countries use our solution.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Participate in the life and daily meetings of the marketing team to plan activities and projects,
Write text for various marketing needs, including content for social media, paid online advertising campaigns, product mailings and email campaigns, marketing, website development, blog articles, case studies, etc.,
Prepare and publish content in selected international communication channels, using the capabilities of these channels and available tools,
Propose and help to decide on subjects of publication with the marketing team, content management, planning publications in advance and working with the content calendar,
Cooperate with a graphic designer and graphics briefing for the needs of publications,
Cooperate with the customer support team in assessing the needs of users and customers and creating marketing content dedicated to them,
Cooperate with a native speaker in verifying all content in terms of language, grammar and substantive,
Cooperate with the product team when creating content for application development,
Cooperate with content creators and external partners in the selection of content in terms of publication on our blog or website, and verification/editing of this content,
Research popular content in the email marketing industry and sending email campaigns,
Monitor and discover industry professionals and create content based on their opinions,
Track keywords relevant to the industry and Elastic Email brand, as well as optimize SEO content,
Maintain the consistency of communication at the level of all content and its compliance with the strategy brand communication,
Optional - create and develop a library of video content on the YouTube channel.
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter or other similar role related to the creation of written and/or video content in English,
Has an excellent command of the English language both written and spoken (90% of the content is written in English), your text is pleasant to read,
Has a portfolio of your own projects (or a few sample articles/videos), thanks to which we will get to know you better,
Has great communication skills,
Has experience in working with content management systems (CMS), preferably WordPress,
Has knowledge of digital marketing, can create text supporting the implementation of the adopted strategy marketing, follow the latest content marketing trends,
Understand the basics of SEO and the role of content in positioning,
Is a creative, independent and well-organized person, carrying out tasks on time and in accordance with the processes adopted by the company,
Is a person open to new challenges, a fast learner and a team player.
Who exceeds in this role?
Experience in or knowledge of video content creation - recording, preparation scenarios, editing, recording studio arrangements, etc.,
Experience working with a camera and/or not afraid of the camera and having no problem with appearing in company videos,
Experience working with any video editing program (preferably from the Adobe suite),
Experience working with the YouTube creators panel,
Experience in email marketing and creating effective and engaging newsletters,
Knowledge of digital marketing and the most important marketing channels,
Ability to use Google Analytics and to evaluate the effectiveness of the activities carried out,
More than basic SEO knowledge and text optimization knowledge.
