SMTP Email Server

If you just want to set your SMTP server configuration to use Elastic Email as a relay use the SMTP Email Server:
  • SMTP Configuration - Send an email to a single recipient or group of recipients.  SMTP Server configuration.

REST API

If you are a developer building an application we recommend you use the REST API which is more flexible and more efficient than standard SMTP.  The following REST API commands are available:

  • Send (mailer/send)  - Send an email to a single recipient or group of recipients
  • Upload Attachment - Upload an attachment to be sent with your email
  • Get Transaction Status (mailer/status) - Get the status of a single send transaction including delivery statistics for recipients
  • Activity Log - Get detailed reports for given times, results and channels.
  • Account Details - Determine how much credit you have left in your Elastic Email account
  • Block List - Get the hard bounced or unsubscribed email addresses you should remove from your list.
  • Mail Merge - Send hundreds or thousands of personalized emails with two api calls.  
  • Contact List Management - Manage your contacts and lists with a series of API calls.
  • Channels - List and delete channels.
