No, you don’t. You can create an Inbox account and start exploring right away without entering any payment details. A credit card is only required if you decide to upgrade to a paid plan.

Getting started is really simple. Just sign up for an account, invite your team, and connect channels you want to use. Everyone starts on the Inbox Free plan, allowing them to test the features and functionality to ensure they have everything needed to run effective business communication. No credit card is required to start.

A seat is one user licence for a team member. Each seat gives that person full access to Inbox features. You can add as many seats as you need (up to 100), so your whole team can collaborate and support customers in one place.

If you add seats during your billing cycle, they’ll be prorated. That means you only pay for the time those new seats are active until your next renewal date. On your next billing cycle, all seats will be billed together for a full cycle.

You can reduce seats anytime you wish. The change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and you’ll only be charged for the updated number of seats going forward.

Yes, if you are on the Inbox Free plan. Then, your message history is stored for 90 days only. Once you upgrade to a paid plan, Inbox Plus, you’ll get unlimited history, so past conversations are always available when you need them.

Yes, you can. To access other Elastic Email products like Email Marketing, Email API, or Creator Suite, you’ll need to create a separate account, but you can use the same login credentials. Each product has its own dashboard, so they won’t appear in a single view.

We currently accept credit card payments (all major cards are supported), Link, and Cartes Bancaires (France). All payments are processed securely, so you can choose the option that works best for you.

We don’t provide formal onboarding because Inbox is designed to be simple and intuitive from the start. There is also a bunch of help guides in our Knowledge Base, but if you ever need a hand, our support team is available 24/7 and always happy to guide you.

When your subscription ends, your Elastic Email Inbox account stays active, but you lose all active seats. After 180 days without an active subscription, all your data is permanently deleted. You can resubscribe anytime before then to keep full access to your history and features.
